When she is not chasing her two and a half year old son Deegan around, Sarah likes to take time to enjoy the finer things in life…reality television and cold beer! Sarah works as an administrative professional for a government contractor in Dahlgren, Virginia. This hard-working single mom is responsible for bringing our team together and is looking forward to building a stronger bond with her teammates over the coming months.

Adriane “Will There Be Cake?” White – Co-Captain

Adriane, a born philanthropist, has dedicated her time to a number of noble causes over the years. When she is not volunteering, she works at an event management company in Fairfax, Virginia processing accounts receivable. She is looking forward to the public relations and logistics portion of planning her team’s fundraising events. Adriane also enjoys cross-stitching and spending time with her husband Keith and her Rat Terrier Scooter.

Ashley “I Should Be Able to Do That” Cypher

Ashley is our self-proclaimed “Crazy Cat Lady” and our resident baker. When she is not concocting delicious gastronomic masterpieces, Ashley works as an administrative professional for an accounting firm in Tyson’s Corner, Virginia. She is excited to surpass her team’s wildest fundraising goals by coming up with creative ways to reach people and get them involved in our efforts.

Valerie “Motion in Our Ocean” Dodge

In addition to participating in the Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure™, Valerie will also be taking part in two half-marathons this year. Valerie is employed at Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg, Virginia as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist and she enjoys playing league soccer. When she is not working or working-out, Valerie can be found encouraging and motivating her teammates by channeling the feisty energy of celebrity fitness guru Jillian Michaels.

Heather “Teach Them to Fish” Dodge

Heather is currently participating in The World Race, a Christian mission program that takes you on a journey of service and self-discovery. Heather started her adventure in August of 2009, and has served in Ireland, Moldova, Hungary, Turkey, Israel, and Uganda. Before her trip is concluded in July, she will serve in Kenya, Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand. While she is thoroughly enjoying every minute of her current quest, Heather is excited to return home and begin working with her team on all of their fundraising efforts.
